The grand premiere of the play "The Gadfly" based on the world-famous novel by E.L. Voynich, performed by famous Azerbaijani actors.

The story revolves around the hero Arthur Burton, a member of the Youth Movement. The tragic events related to his relationship with his father Padre Montanelli and his love for his friend Gemma form the basis of the work. It is a work of religion, frustration, revolution, romance and heroism. The novel “The Gadfly” has been popular all over the world for more than a century and arouses great interest and strong emotions among viewers.
