New Year Performance at the Academic Musical Theatre – "Home Alone"
From December 28, 2024, to January 5, 2025, the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theatre will present an exciting and entertaining New Year’s show – "Home Alone".

The performance is based on the script of the film of the same name by American director Chris Columbus. The stage director of the production is Zaur Aliyev.

Just like in the film, the show depicts the adventures of a young boy left home alone by his family, who goes abroad to celebrate the New Year. With his resourcefulness and self-confidence, the brave child overcomes all his fears and manages to navigate through the tragicomic situations he faces. His ingenuity and courage in dealing with dangers leave everyone around him astonished.

The idea’s author and artistic director is Doctor of Philosophy, Honored Art Worker Aliqismet Lalayev. The second director is Emrah Dadashov, the choreographer is Elvira Azizova, the stage designer is Qabil Gozalov, the music arranger is Mahammad Mahammadov, the stunt coordinator is Isa Asadov, and the director's assistant is Sevinc Mammadova.

The cast includes Honored Artist Igrar Salamov, Presidential Award winners Samadzada Khasiev and Huseyn Alili, and actors Elchin Imamov, Shaban Jafarov, Ofelia Mammadova, Ruslan Mursalov, Farid Rzayev, Nermin Aliyeva, Eleonora Abbasova, Jabrayil Jabrayilov, Ibrahim Alizade, Subhan Rustamov, Ali Karimov, Murad Aliyev, Ayan Gurbanova, Firuza Jafarova, Kamran Hasanov, Iran Karimova, as well as young actors of the theatre – brothers Mirugur and Mironur Alili and Hamid Hamidov, along with ballet artists.

Symbols of the New Year – Santa Claus and Snow Maiden – will also appear in the show. The performance will run for nine days (from December 28 to January 5), with four sessions daily.

Tickets can be purchased at centralized city box offices, ASAN service centers, and the "iticket.az" website. Group bookings are also accepted.
