The next presentation of "Muğam Lectures" will be dedicated to the "Shur" muğam.
As part of the project "Azerbaijani Muğam" organized by the International Mugham Center, the next presentation of the "Muğam Lectures" evenings will take place on May 17. The "Muğam Lectures" are conducted under the leadership of the renowned mugham singer, educator, and Honored Art Worker Aqil Məlikov.
In the form of a mugham concert, the literary-artistic evening will explore the artistic-aesthetic, lyrical-emotional connection between mugham and ghazal, the content and imagery of ghazals, and the influence of mugham music. The importance of the ghazal genre in mugham performance will be discussed, and mugham modes and compositions will be presented.
