Gianluca Paganelli, Fabio Andreotti, and Mauro De Santis met while studying at a conservatory in Italy, where they graduated in opera singing, vocal technique, acting, and music theory. After graduation, they attended various master classes conducted by renowned opera singers such as Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli, Magda Olivero, Mirella Freni, Gabriella Tucci, Renato Bruson, and others. During their careers, the three young tenors often performed together in the same operas, concerts, and televised events, forming a strong friendship. In 2015, their story seemed to be destined: they reunited to create a project that would bring them great success, popularity, and worldwide recognition—the trio "Romantic Italian Tenors."
Since 2015, the trio began their career with a tour across Italy, performing in the most prestigious theaters, including the Rome Opera House, La Fenice in Venice, Florence, Petruzzelli Theatre in Bari, Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and others.
The "Romantic Italian Tenors" collaborated with many world-renowned orchestras and conductors, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Pavlodar Philharmonic Orchestra, and others under the direction of Maestro Hirofumi Yoshida, the Orchestra of the Rome Opera, as well as with globally famous artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Hayley Westenra, Katia Ricciarelli, and more.
In 2020, the "Romantic Italian Tenors" received the "Silver Vine Award" for "Best Opera Performance."
